Our client Pfleiderer commissioned us with the mechanical disassembly and reassembly of hot platens in their Siempelkamp ContiRoll® press. Since we needed space to remove the hot platens, we had to relocate the prepress with a weight of 100 t. Because of confined spaces we were only able to replace the hot platens by means of a lifting rack provided by us as well. The hot platens were removed, sent to Siempelkamp in Germany for reworking and re-installed in the press at the client’s site in Poland. Owing to the untiring efforts of our specialists at the site the production loss was kept to a minimum.
