Relocation of a tongue-and-groove cutting machine
In the course of bundling different production units at the Oostrozebeke site in Belgium, our client Unilin commissioned us to relocate a complete tongue-and-groove cutting machine with an integrated cut-to-size saw and downstream packaging line. The order comprised both the dismantling of a plant in Wielsbeje, Belgium, and subsequent reassembly in Oostrozebeke, some 5 km away, and the conversion of various machine units. They had to be adjusted to the modified plant layout and to the interfaces to new machines by various suppliers.
Moreover, we provided the cable material including cabling work as well as a new control software. Owing to extensive preparatory work and thanks to a highly motivated crew we were able to realise the order successfully within 4 weeks.
